Sony Alpha ***, new in box with receipt. $725 shipped. This was just delivered today and I have the receipt. Rather than pay to ship it back and wait for the refund to come I'd prefer to simply sell it. It is of course the USA model. I forgot to change my withholding so my tax bill is going to be significantly more than I expected and between that, someone denting the rear quarter of my chevelle, the ls swap and the upcoming Belize trip the reality is that having more money will be more useful than having more camera.
This is a brand-new model and hard to find in stock most places, or at least is had been until the time I ordered it.
I also have a minolta 50mm 1:1.7 AF lens for $75 more.
This is it, it's a pretty cool piece and packed with features for less than even a Nikon D90. Certainly less than a D7000. Autofocus during video, 10 fps shooting, in body image stabilization and auto gps tagging. If it doesn't sell by vacation time in a couple weeks I'll just use it myself.
