Default BMW Z3 - LS1 Conversion For Sale

eBay Link - http://item.ebay.com/140481741927

Hi Guys-

Just a heads up that I'm reducing my price and going to be listing the Z on eBay , Craigslist etc. Previously I posted it for sale here on bf.c and mostly received emails requesting joy rides and/or requests for me to part the car out.

I rarely get to drive the Z these days and I'd rather have the cash for some investment opportunities.

This year I put about 2,000 miles on the Z, and over 1,100 of them were on a trip to Virginia Beach and back for some business I had to do down there in August. The Z made the trip without any hiccups, averaged over 26mpg between a couple of the fillups, my water temp never went over 180, oil stayed under 200 (including some bumper-to-bumper traffic on I95 around Philly in rush hour).

If you've followed my build you'll know that basically every moving/wear item has been replaced/upgraded....when I built this monster I had reliability and longevity in mind, and it should go another 10-15yrs without any significant maintenance items.

I have a spreadsheet that breaks down over $40,000 I have "invested" into the Z over the years (not including purchasing the Z itself), and on the LS1 build I've put in over 500hrs.

Here are some of the details

•1996 Z3 (93k miles)
•2000 LS1 (42, miles)
•RPM Transmissions
stage IV T56 6spd (6k miles)
•Some mild motor mods (ASP crank pulley, LS6 intake, LS6 PCV, GM Hot Cam, LS6 valvesprings, SLP hardened pushrods)
•Fidanza 12.5lb flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction 12", upgraded hydraulics, remote clutch bleed
•Walbro fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR (-6 from tank to rail)
•Custom equal length 1 7/8” long tube headers
•2.5” exhaust including X-pipe, cats and dual Magnaflow 14815’s
•Randy Forbes trunkfloor/differential reinforcement
•Body upgraded to ///M Roadster
/Coupe panels
•CCW Wheels (18x8.5” and 18x10.5”)
•TC Kline single adjustable coilovers
•UUC Wilwood brake kit
•Recaro Pole Positions, HMS Rollbar/Harnessbar, Momo 350mm steering wheel, ACS pedal covers Custom TSX projector retrofit, and other lighting upgrades
•Functional BMW gauge cluster (tach, speedo, odom, fuel)

If you add up some of the upgrades not related to the motor/trans (CCW's, TCK SA's, Recaro's, hardtop & hoist) Randy Forbes kit, UUC Brakes, HMS rollbar/harnessbar, plus all the suspension components I replaced - control arms, bushings, rtab's.......) you reach over $15k.

My asking price is $22,500 including all the extras (hardtop, hoist, spare diff with dual ear, spare half shaft, rear Roadstars, integrated V1, EFILive)

If you don't want the hardtop and spares I'll negotiate a lower price

I will deliver the car up to 3hrs from Albany, NY. Any further is the responsibility of the buyer.

This is more of a classified ad isn't it?
Looks pretty cool though.
