Default back light

i have a stock head unit and the back light is out. anyone know how to fix the damb thing. i am technically proficient in taking apart and fixing things but i dont want to screw this thing up. thanks

Well its kinda hard to explain & type out, just remove radio & disassemble the case of the radio.
This will let you get the face off.
Then you can get at the bulb, I think it's a 912?

check your interior lighting...once mine was doing that, and it wasnt until nighttime i realized it was because my interior light fuse had blown
