Default Fast Ez Efi Multi-Port with MSD 6010?

Ive been working on gathering parts for my 5.3 swap in my Third gen Camaro and i found something that interested me.

Right now im swapping a 5.3 with a small cam(21x/23x-11x) into the car and this will obviously not be the final engine for the car. It will likely change multiple times eventually getting larger and more radical as time passes. I was thinking that the fast system, although batch fire, should make damn close to the same power numbers as the stock sequential system but give me ultimate flexibility in changing my combo over time.

It will also save me a ton of $. Heres what i suspect ill have in a stock efi system.

Computer - 45.00
Harness - 25.00-50.00 (in parts, harness came with my 5.3)
Dyno Tune - 500.00 ( depends on who i take it to, can be less)
Thats 570.00-595.00 and it will need a retune every time i change my combo.

If I go Fast
Fast EZ Efi and Harness - 800.00-850.00
MSD 6010 - 310.00-330.00

So for under 1200$ i can get a control system that will never require a retune. All i will have to do is tune the timing curve and set the desired AFR and im done.

Any thoughts on this?

What's the purpose of the 6010, the Fast system is suppose to be standalone. Will the 6010 have some added benefits over the Fast system? Just wanna make sure you're not wasting money that can be spent elsewhere.

The EZ-Efi kit does not control timing. Buying the XFI wouldn't help me with the tuning of the fuel curves. That is why I'll need the 6010.

You're way off on the price of the injection unless you found a used system somewhere. New they are $1800 to $2100.

That's for the carb retrofit efi with throttle body and everything. The multiport system is much cheaper be Use it is designed to work with production parts. All that comes with the multiport kit is the computer and harness.

Sounds like a good plan to me. If I ever convert my Mustang over to an LSX I was thinking of doing what your propose.

It self tunes using a Wideband and since it is speed density you don't have to worry about plumbing in a MAF sensor. Sounds perfect to me.

Not only that, I can change intakes, engines and even engine families and this system will still work
