Default Car Throwing Codes and Running Lean

Had the car serviced and it's running lean. Service manager told me it was because I had have a bigger throttle body than the original stock one, and the screen on the MAF has been removed. I have a constant SES and Service Vehicle Light.

I would like to get rid of this. If I were to buy an aftermarket SLP MAF and find a stock throttle body. Would my problem be solved?

Removing the screen is the likely culprit. For some reason, it throws codes on some cars, not on others. I would look in the 'for sale' forum for a cheap stock MAF before I purchased an SLP one.

Before you buy anything, you can bring your car to Auto Zone and they'll pull the codes for you for free.

I still have the workorder from the dealer, and it listed the codes. I don't remember them, but it was caused by either the throttle body or the MAF Descreening.
