It's fun driving on glass isn't it? LOL

My car ran a 12.6 @ 116 w/ a 2.39 60' on street tires last time out. Just goes to show ya what a difference traction makes.

once I get going.. my suspension kicks in and I dont have any issues...
its just the initial start that is the issue...

Im impressed by that 60ft time, especially with the heavy iron block up front.

So are you spinning that much after you start, like half way through 1st gear? Reason I ask this is because sometimes it is easier to make the car bog on it self to keep the initial shock of torque off of the tires. Example for me I slipped the clutch from around 2000rpm and it bogs really hard and falls on its face around 10mph, but at the same time I can kept first gear floored and it doesnt give the tires enough shock to spin, kind of like a easy way to roll the throttle to keep form spinning. I netted a 1.9x 60ft as well with this approach, and still 12.10's with 120-121 mph. Just good ideas for a street run or if you are on shitty street tires or 555rs.

it was breaking them free at the top of 1st gear....

I had to short shift 1st to keep from just blowing off the tires.
