Default oil press. dropping??

after i got put my cam in slowly but surely my oil pressure has been dropping. at wot it still holds 60 - 65 but at idle im going down to 35. i used to be at 40 all the time and dont know why its dropped to 35 now. i know some ls1's had problems w/ oil pump failures but dont know if i should get a new ported oil pump or if the one i have is fine. what do you fellas think. TIA

well as rpms drop the pressure will drop accordingly, so when the cam surges does the oil pressure just dip along with it or is it just steadily lower? all you need is 10 psi for every 1000 rpm

your fine dude. Your vacuum is a little bit lower do to your cam and the LSA, that will normally have a slight effect on your pump and cause a slight decrease in oil press. You dont need a high perf. oil pump, save your money
