Default Intake or Exhaust Valve

If you're standing over driver side quarter panel looking down at driver side head with valve cover off. Intake valves are to the left of the exhaust valves, correct?

Yes, looking at the drivers side head the intake valve will be first.

exhaust valves are over the exhaust ports.

Intake valves are also larger then exhaust.
