Am i confused here, cause the 2010 camaro has a 6l80e transmission and the 4l60e trans wont work without a stand alone computer.

It was just a canned post I made for all the sections. We can install a 4L60e or 4L80e in any 5th Gen camaro. The post includes all RPM Transmissions products.

Really? How do you bypass the ecu not reading the 6l80e tcm signal? I want to do a 4l80e on my TTG8 but i know i need a standalone, but not sure how to get ecu a speed signal for the speedometer. You may have some future business out of this. I am not willing to drop 3k on the 6l80e at the moment cause i know whats gonna happen to it.

Honestly I don't handle the wiring. Rodney and Wes are the brains behind that. I will PM you with more details monday. And you are on the right path not wanting to put another 6L80e in the car because it will be out again befor you know it.

you will need to run a stand alone for the trans control.... also what i would do is load a ls3 manual camaro tune or ls3 manual LS3 g8 gxp tune (that way the computer isnt looking for a tcm), and change the Pulse per mile in the computer to pickup the speedometer signal correctly with the 4l80e

Thanks Ryne. That was what I was thinking too but I wasn't 100% sure. Better off not saying anything, then opening my mouth and sounding like an idiot if I was wrong :)
