Default What does the yellow paint on my valves indicate?

Is this GM's way of identifying hollow stem valves?

The yellow paint is GM's quality control, the yellow paint represents that there is a flaw and the assembly is junk. I need your email address to give you the address to send the heads to.

I have no idea.

pull one and weight it. I don't know another way, not that there isn't one. I know they have longer tip, but that might be harder to measure.
