Default Newbie to competion drag racing needs your help

I would like to get into some small amount of competition drag racing such as the LS1TECH.COM NvsS series. While I have frequented my local tracks for test and tune I havent so much as entered a structured drag race competition ever. Not even bracket racing. I would like to attend the NvsS series and want any info you guys can give me. I would be competing in Class 1 or maybe Class 2. What do I need to know to get prepared for this series? Any info you veterans can share would greatly be appreciated.

Practce makes perfect. Get your car out to the track and find out what makes your car run its best.

Play with different wheel/tire combos, air pressure in the tires, suspension setting( if applicable), etc. The guys that run fast are the best at figuring out the above items, and using that to their advantage.

Thumbs up

Practice at your local track. Ask them to change the lights to a pro .500 tree for TNT.

Try to enter some bracket races at your local track. Racing will make you better.

Practice is the key.

Good luck.
