Racer's Lounge - A very nice Black Friday sale at Advanced Auto Parts

I just came back from a killer Black Friday sale at our local Advanced Auto Parts. They had it set up by times. From 6am to 7 am it was 40% off! I am glad I got there early, it looked like Wal-Mart in there.
I bought over $300 worth of stuff for $200. A particularly nice buy was the Pennzoil Platinum. It worked out to $4.19 a quart.
They started to say that oil was not included because they had a buy 5 quarts and get an oil filter free promotion going on, but so many people got irate that they had to give the discount to keep the crowd from turning ugly and save time.

Nice score & thanks for the heads up. Too bad I don't go out on black Friday. People are freakin' nuts on that day; today. I'd feel safer running with the bulls while walking on my hands.

I'm thinking Sears myself for Tool sale.. I hate shopping in crowds though, however, I'm itching for a new set of Craftsman or Snap-On tools..
I need to get my lazy full ass up and go and spend...SHeeeeet...

My sister got a printer/scanner/copier for 20 bucks at Walmart or Target. You couldn't pay me to go out into that mess though.

I went out in it today. There were some great deals, and some deals that made me laugh (oh $10 off your $300 system eh? no thanks). I ran the gamit and ended up at Sears walking out with a 200Amp battery charging/starting cart for $70 and a 3/8 inch/pound torque wrench for $60.
Home Depot had a 5 gal Ridgid wet/dry vac for like $28! That was crazy!

I'd rather pay full price than go out on Black Friday.

Yea black friday is just too much for me I cant see standing in line at walmart for 8 to 10 hours to save 50 bucks on a tv. I know they have good deals out there but most of the people I know just buy a ton of stuff they really have no use for.

I stood in line for almost 1 minute and only saved $117 dollars. And, I had to drive almost 2 1/2 miles to get there!
