Default ms4 heads and cam risks ???

I have a 2002 z28 a4 with boltons and suspension and some other necessities for handling more power. My car has127,000 on the odometer and has never even seen a k&n till 104,000 miles. When i purchased it it was bone stock to the original trans oil and spark plugs so it was untoched but in need of tlc for maintnance. Now it has complete tune up and runs strong as ever. My plan for it is as follows:

already has..
texas speed lt's and ory
k&n
slp lid
3000 stall
umi rear lower control arms
umi panhard rod
bmr adjustable torque arm

Do a rebuild? will the following mods be alright on stock high mileage intenals?

arp rod bolts
texas speed ported ls6 oil pump
double roller timing chain
udp 25%
prc ls6 2.5 heads: .660 lift springs
ms4 cam
ls7 lifters
yella terra rockers or harland sharp?
hardened pushrods
new gm oil pan gasket

my concern would be spinning a rod bearing using the cams full potential has anyone done this kind of power with near mileage ? or go ahead and save for a rebuild ? opions welcome need steered to fast reliable cobra killer

Everything that your doing sounds like it should work out real well. I put my ms4 in my car at 119k, and it has been fine ever since. I don't turn my car over 7k but its been up there.

Thats good to know! I think i will probably set a rev limiter around 6800 so there will be no over stressing

Why not rebuild man? I mean, you are literally going to have every part of the engine torn off except to do all of that... To do the pump you have to pull off the oil pan, so why not make it easier on yourself to do the actual work, and know that your engine is fresh?

Rings and crank/main bearing arent going to cost you a ton... Hell, you could take the short block to a machine shop if you dont feel comfortable with it and have them do it for you. It wouldnt even cost that much if you took it to them like that... But hell, you have the resources here to diy anyways... Whats another few bucks that could save your *** some trouble 10k miles down the road?

I wouldnt rebuild it at 100k. Should be just fine. I'm about to put a cam in a buddys z28 with 169k on the clock and wont think twice. Your doing lifters, lifters are the only concern I would have but thats usually on high milers like my buddys, so I bet you will be just fine

Good stuff to do. I would be more worried about that trans if it's stock and hasn't been freshened

I put a ms4 in my 99ss m6,I haven't done rod bolts yet but I'm going to,honest though with all those parts you should be ok,I personally wish I would have went with a fresh rebuild right from the start,I worry about a 125 000 mile motor shifting at 6800 with rod bolts or not,I have never built a engine but I'm putting my car away Monday for the winter,I see myself just pulling it out and having it rebuilt, that's just me though I have known guys never have a issue with running there high mileage engine, but like someone said I don't wanna have an issue down the road, one idea I had was get the trans rebuilt and a rearend over winter,do the rodbolts to my ls1,and just have a 6.0 build going on in the works for when something happens,I love the ms4 cam great up top but I can't wait for the 12 bolt and 4.56 gears, that should help it out in the lower rpms ,the heads I wanna go with are the prc 227 heads, call texas speed about those ,there a great match for the bigger cams,

Thank for the input everyone. The reason for asking the question without rebuilding is due to I'm going in the future with the 383 stroker kit so the cam size will work nice with the added cubes. With what I want in the kit is another 2700 on top of the heads cam ect. That price is with machine shop included. Any input on comp pro magnums vs yella terras vs harland sharp?

Iv got yella terras on mine..work great for me...A little noisie but I think its more the agressive cam lobes than rockers,.. Mines almost daily driven sees 7000 all the time. Youll be fine!
