Just finished it the other day. Waiting on the carpet right now.
Alpine 6.5 component in the doors.
Rockford Fosgate 6.5 midrange drivers in the sail panels.
SWR Apline 12 in back.

This system is in my 2003 Silverado 2500HD.

Alpine 9815


JL Amps 300/2 and 1000/1


JL 12 W7 and custom box


Alpine CD Changer


In the front and rear doors I'm running MB Quarts PSD series.

hey Big Mike, how is that 9815? its the head unit i was thinking about getting, and wondered the pros/cons.... thanks man.

Ive had about 15 different CD players and indash monitors in my car in the last 2 years and the CDA9815 by far gave the best sound overall as well as easiest control. Wish I hadnt of gotten rid of it. Probably gonna buy one again. I only used it as a preamp section in my car but we used the amp in it for a few Vipers and Corvettes and it definitly had the best sound for a indash amp.

good news..... looks like thats what i'll be putting in w/the funds from the next paycheck... dont mean to shift the focus of this thread, but what amp do you guys suggest to power it? i was thinking the alpine 4/3/2 v-series..... im def. open for suggestions.... i still am new to the audio scene.
