Up for sale is my 2004 Yellow Jacket. I'm the third owner of the vehicle, and I know the previous owner. We've both babied the hell out of this car. Previous owner took it to the track twice that I know of. Ran a 13 flat, before it got even more mods. I bought it with 68,*** miles.
While in my possession it's never been to the track. I've never even taken it over 100. It's never been driven in the rain, it's been detailed at least once a month, and the oil has been changed religiously every 1,500 miles with mobil-1 oil and filter, with the most recent change one week ago. Diff fliud/trans fluid have all been changed 3000 miles ago, and they're still in great running order. Clutch fluid was changed 500~ miles ago, and the cold air intake was cleaned every month, with the most recent clean being two days ago. The car has never thrown a code while in my possession.
I also had a compression and leak down check done and everything came back perfect, nothing is leaking on the car and everything is more than mechanically sound. All installs were professionally done at Race Proven Motorsports, one of the best high performance GM shops in the country.
List of mods:
Engine:
K&N Cold air Intake: Came when I bought the car
RPM3 cam: 113LSA 236/242: Installed 3500 miles ago
SLP Underdrive pulley: Installed with the cam
Comp springs and pushrods: Installed with the cam
Pacesetter long tubes: Came with the car
Catless mids: Came with the car
SLP Loud mouth 1: Came with the car
Suspension and drivetrain:
Front suspension is completely stock
Pedders 3mm drag springs in the rear: Installed 800 miles ago
Pedders big bore shocks in the rear: Installed with the springs
Gforce Engineering 1 piece aluminum driveshaft: Installed 200 miles ago
GMM Ripshift shifter: Installed 3500 miles ago
LS7 clutch and Flywheel: Installed with the cam, and had a 1000 mile break in. That's right, 1000 miles, I wanted to make sure it would break in perfect. The clutch has not been beat on at all. I mostly just cruised around in the car. No high rpm clutch dumps, no power shifting.
It's got Nitto invo 245/35/19 up front and BFG KDW2s the same size in the rear, installed on ADR black mesh wheels with a silver lip. No rubbing at all. Both tires have lots of tread left. I've also got carbon ceramic C5 brake pads on as well, that I put on 300 miles ago. Car stops very good.
Car made 400rwhp and 366tq at Race Proven Motorsports when they tuned it on 93 octane. They're a very reputable shop, and don't do sloppy work on anything, so you can rest assured this car is running great.
The Good:
Pretty much everything. Runs real strong, drives great, handles awesome and stops good. It also gets around 26mpg on the highway at 65mph. Gas around town isn't too bad either. It drives pretty much stock honestly. If you're in too high of a gear at too low of a speed it'll buck around a lot, just like any manual transmission car.
The bad:
It is a 7 year old car so the paint is not perfect. It's got a few rock chips on the passenger fender and hood. Nothing out of the ordinary. There's also a small blemish on the rear bumper, nothing bad, and there's a small bubble in the tint in the rear window. I've also been told that it won't pass PA inspection, but I passed with no issues, so I don't know. The car also does drone a little bit on the highway, but it's not bad. E-brake cable needs to be tightened as well. I haven't done it because I just leave my car in gear.
