You're not going to get 500rwhp dude. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
You'll make 440-450 with an LS6 intake. 450-475 with a FAST.
Also, who did the install? Was rocker/valve wipe and pushrod length checked? If not, your power is going to fall like a ton of bricks @ 6500.

I did all the work its done right everything was prechecked by trick flow before they even sent me the kit...I got harland sharp 1.7 rocker arms longer pushrods 92mm Fast Intake and throttle body, underdrive pulley MSD ignition...I seen the same setup on utube and the guy had a smaller cam than I and he put 504 to the rear wheels. But if u guys are right and it dont ill pull it back out put it in my brothers car and build a better setup.

Expect 465-475'ish out of your setup. If you're hoping for 500 you're going to be disappointed.

What mods are required apart from the heads and cam to see 460-475 with a standard cube LS1? Seems like a hell of a lot of power and no one in Australia gets close to that normally

There's a very small handful of stock bottom LS1 engines in the entire world that make 500rwhp. And I'd hardly call it a legit 500, considering the bullshit tricks people do to get their cars to make that on the dyno.

It's just too bad this setup seems to be all about a dyno number rather than actual performance because the setup will probably run pretty good. Unfortunately, based on what the OP is saying; if it doesn't make 500, he's building something else... wish I had that sort of money, lol. Best of luck to the OP. Hope to see some dyno numbers soon.

O dont get me wrong I love the performance and the power she is puttin out I was just hoping to be able to make 500 with out have to step up to the LSX...my brother wants my motor for his car so idk just depends on what kind of numbers she runs on the track. Still waiting on 9in with 456's had the tranny built by Morris Mortorsports there isnt a stock part on the car but the A/C. My first LS1 build guess we will just have to wait and see.
