Default How much should the charge be?

Had the car into the dealer to have the tranny checked since GM didn't fix it the first time. The work that would have to be done isn't covered under warranty, and I would be better off just buying New Aftermarket Tranny parts. (clutch, master cylinder, and slave)

How much do you guys think it's gonna cost just for them checking it out?

$35 just for them to look at it where I live

I bet they will never see me in there!

Is that $35 for doing their little work over to see what the problem is? Or $35 just to drop it off for an appointment?

I had a similair thing happen to me. The part that was bad was not covered and it turned out to be something I could swap myself. The dealership charged me $75 for troubleshooting my car.

$35 just to drop it off, then they charge labor to look at it. If I ever have to get somthing fixed I will take it to a local garage that is much more resonable.
