10 Second Club - Ran 12.69@109 without new mods....will I make 10's?

Eairlier in the season I was able to get the car to the track to see what she could do with nothing more than a gear'd, stalled, LS1 and was able to nail a mid 12. With the addition of a few new parts...does the car have what it takes to make the 10 club?
LID
Stock LS1 intake-98 car
1inch 7/8's LT's
A4 4k Stall
Shift Kit
Vet Cervo
High Friction Clutches
Stock 10-bolt
3.73 gears
TQ Arm
Lower Control Arms
11.5 Rear 315's on ZR1's
Zex Dry 100 shot (TPS Controlled)
Ran a 12.69 @ 109 without the Nitrous and with previous 16 inch Eagle wheels w 255 tires. Did spray a couple times at the track but time remained the same because of traction issues. The trap however did go up 11mph when spraying wich was nice to see. Won't be back to the track til my LS6 intake, LCA relocation brackets, and Panhard bar arive. The much needed breathing of the intake and added traction from the 315's & susp upgrades should match nicely with 100 shot to net @ very least a second off my E/T...but does it have a 10.99?

Sorry, but i think with good driving you'd be lucky to see an 11.5.

Hmmm....IYO. Although I was running 12.69 w/a .9 60ft....seems like the 60ft alone leaves room from improvment. The tires were pretty bad but the new 315's will help tremendously with the 60ft. When I ran the 12.6 I had Lower Control Arms....BUT after more research I found that the LCA relocation brackets will actually make the biggest diffrence and work with the LCA's and 315's. This traction should make spraying effective and gains from the 11mph trap increase with the 100 shot will most likely FINALLY, become noticable. Then I have to take into account that I was on the stock intake, wich makes a BIG diffrence when the exhaust is so big (1'7/8 steped to 2.)
I did some figure's and math to come up with a net full 1 second off my E/T with the addition of the Tires and Nitrous ALONE! I also think that the PHB and LCA brackets will work with the tires to also take time off my 60ft....and net a higher trap, possibly lowering my time even more.

Man up and get some drag radials and you MIGHT see 10.99 with a sub 1.7 60', but i doubt it. Up the shot to a 150, its a v8, it can handle it.

if you were only trapping 120, thats knocking on the door of a 10's pass but not there, maybe on a perfect run, but I would think like said above a mid 11's pass is much more likely

I have to agree with previous posters. You'll probably need a good drag radial and a 150 hit to make it. Most people need 122-124 to hit 10's (with good traction). I should know; I'm shooting for the same number.

Yes! I am considering also moving to a larger 150 jet. And Radials are going to have to happen sooner or later, as I have learned from previous LSx projects. The 315's wont be horrible though. I have to also agree in the trap formula above. I really need to be in the 125mph range to get that 10.99.....There's just something about a stock heads, (other than springs), and cam car flirting with the idea of 10's that makes me grin!!!!!!

Here is another vote for no. I highly doubt you're going to make it in to the 11's on HP, and you at least need to be there to get into the 10's with only 100hp worth of nitrous.

Hmmm....IYO......
Sooo, you ask for peoples opinion, but when they give you an answer you don't like, you say "humm, IYO." ? lol.
It may not seem like much, but a 12.69 to 10's is a pretty big jump. I would have to agree with the others that shaving a full second off your previous time would be a pretty big accomplishment with those new mods.

I would be thrilled with a mid 11 with nothing more than I have now. And yes, a full second is my goal. By no means do I think I have a 10.xx car on my hands lol, I am just gathering peoples IYO's and ideas on what they think as true. Thanks guys!!! (11.47 w spray)-My hopes as is.
