LT1/LS1 T-56 6speed question.....

Will a LT1 based T56 work with a LS1/LS2 engine? What is need for it to work? Are the input shafts the same, bolt pattern, etc?

Yes but no the lt1 t56 is external mounted slave cyl ls1 is internal and different bellhousings

you have to change the input shaft,the face plate,and the bell housing

^ what he said. ive done the reverse and went ls1 t56 to an lt1 changing said parts and works just fine.
