Eastern Members - Need a tuner, not sure who to go to...convince me

I was all set on going to TTP in little falls cause a couple buddies of mine have gotten tuned by Matt and they seem to be happy with his work...however theyve since closed. So I am looking for a tuner within 2-3 hours maybe a little more driving distance (in Eastern NY about an hour north of the city...closer would be great) My car is a 243 H/torquer v2 car with basic bolt ons...As of right now its on the stock tune. Ive read reviews by many....someone please convince me who to go with...

+1 for Fran and his crew. He does all my tunes for my car and customer cars.

We're about 3 hours from you, but I've got a bunch of customers in the NY area that come for the trip. It may be a bit longer of a drive but I promise it'll be worth it or your money back.

Matt from TTP is now with East Coast Supercharging in NJ, you can still have him tune your car. Plus the guys at ECS have tuned more record holding cars then most others combined, and have been tuning in the LSX market since it started. Between the combo of the two now, they are your best bet IMHO.

I've had only EXCELLENT results with Cartek Racing's vast tuning skills.

Cartek has been tuning my car for the last 10 years. Yes there are other capable tuners around but I keep going back to Cartek.

So far the best tuner I have come across is Vette Doctors out in Long Island NY

I personally only use Cartek.

Kaltek is a quality shop.
ECS is a quality shop with the exception of Matt...

there are many threads out there about tunes recently. Personally you cant go wrong with RPM or CSP. both shops are great. both shops have tuned my car. both great experiences.

We use Kaltech tuning & Performance out in Setauket NY, he tunes our GTO and all of our customers cars one of the nices guys you will meet.

I find that most shops nowadays do not return PM's or telephone calls regardless if you are a customer or not.

I recently took my car to ECS and couldn't be happier. They re-built my entire tune from scratch w/ EFI Live,
removed MAF and car is now Speed Density(open loop).
