Honestly though the piping isn't any bigger diameter than stock, the resonator doesn't make/loose any power, and the split doesn't look any better than stock so unless your system is getting rusty and needs replaced, I'm not seeing any advantage in installing that system versus having your stock mufflers replaced with Dynos and putting new tips on.
Now if it was a 3" intermediate pipe into dual 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 after the Y, I could see that. Too bad too because I really like dynomax and it'd be great to have an off the shelf system from them that was what I wanted. I'm probably still going to use their mufflers in a custom system this spring, had a couple sets on previous cars and got lots of compliments on the sound.

That is a nice price! Have to look up a 2005 Grand Prix to find it.
If that's an accurate image, I'm not too fond of the tips. Also, you lose the quad tips (yes 4" quads will fit the GXP).

The PDF lists it for the 3.8L. Weird.

as I recall, the consensus from a few years back is that the V6 exhausts fit with only very minor modification of some mounting points and trimming. Pretty much anything for a V6 W-body can be made to work.

I had a dynomax catback on my 1989 firebird formula way back in the day and it sounded really nice. I have heard dynomax on a LT1 Z28 as well and it was nice too.

have a set of ss Ultra-Flo's on the Impala (stock pipe, no resonator) that does not sound too good in the crappy video's I have, but I get remarks on how good it sounds from strangers and friends alike when I get on it.

94ss06gxp,
1. What tips are you going with? I need 3 inch inlet and can't find any.
I have 3 inch ultra flows but they won't go on until spring.
2. From your christmas thread, any good hunting ground up your way, been looking to get out of IN to do some good hunting.

I have a custom 3in from cat to 2.5in Y to the mufflers, an my mufflers are Dynomax Super Turbo's. They sound....... eh...... oooooook. Im not happy.
But they are there cheaper style muffler. I got them at a swap meet and they were for a 78 camaro with a dual kit from dynomax. Anyways its like a super deeeeeep bass. Hard to explain some people like it but i dont. Doesnt have the rumble or muscle car nastyness im looking for..
But like I said the super turbo's are eh ooook.....
