Default Trans Fluid Leak

I recently noticed some drops in the garage, crawled under the car and found this. Its where the bell housing connects to the back of the motor. Its a pretty slow leak, about a drop a day. Is it some sort of seal, any input or thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you figure it out yet? It's been a while since you posted up.

Yeah it's actually not tranny fluid, it's the rear main seal. Just one of those things i'll fix when i have to replace the clutch.

its probably not the rear main but the back of the oil pan. The gasket is known to leak.

Thanks for the input, either way it's not leaking too bad so i'm just going to keep a close eye on it.

My Z is doing the same thing. It's such a slow leak that I don't even have to pay attention to it. I just check the oil every 500 miles or so like I always do and add accordingly. I have to add a quart IF THAT inbetween oil changes. My diff is leaking even slower, and its not even coming from the gasket, i've noticed a little fluid on the u joint but it's a really thin layer, doesn't even drip. I figured that's probably the result of using synthetic fluid when I got the new gears put in.
