Default Anyone have the "hoods4sale" Harwood replica???

I know the story behind Hoods4sale, some say they fit great, others not so great, but is anyone running (or has run) their 2.5" Harwood replica?

I have a buddy who works at a body shop so some minor body work won't be bad, as long as it isn't a total piece of crap. Anybody got one?

i bought 2 hoods off them and they both fit horrible. the bolt holes didnt line up.

so...if u buy one, just try it on your car before the delivery guy leaves.. if it dont fit then make him take it back.. i'm doing that for now on.. last time i sat it on my car to see if it lined up with the fenders but didnt bolt it down...so i was screwed. the guy at hoods4sale/liberty fiberglass was an *** and wouldnt do anything... he argued like a little kid, but the prices are nice. its probably a hit or miss with them.

Look at his feedback. All of it's from coins if that doesn't tell you something, you need to reevaluate your criteria.

Yeah I've looked into everything. Even with all that, I've still seen plenty of guys who say they have gotten good hoods from them

Did you see his feedback? You have to go back an insane amount of pages to actually find a hood.

Half way down, which was probably like the 2 hood i found in my search, shows that they fit like crap. Beware of replicas, you pay for what you get.

what he said......

If your gonna put an aftermarket hood on your car, don't skimp. You are far better off spending your hard earned money on a quality piece that fits and won't crack/warp. I've also learned this the hard way. If you do buy one from them, good luck. Maybe you'll get a good one.

I was looking into this and have a guy who dose classic body work and resto willing to help check it in. Even with him there it is sounding like a bad idea to buy his hoods???
Does anyone have a recommendation for brand/seller... wasn't planning on spending too much, vfn looks nice but 3x the cost of hoods4sale...

anyone heard anything good/bad about the DURAFLEX hoods or the seller?

Thanks for your help
