Default LS1 intake, EGR plug and PCV port

The LS1 intake I'm using on myb swap does not have the EGR elimination plug on top, behind the TB. anyone know a part number or what model/years they were used on so I can get one from the dealer?
It also does not have the PCV port the leads to the TB, in front of the blade. Is there another way to route the PCV or should I just drill/tap it and add a fitting?

Default Egr

Gm did not make a Plug for the EGR. The 97 > 00 ls1's had it and 01 up does not.

If there's no after market plug, u'll have to make one urself.

Every TB should have a port for the PCV where it can obtain air.

I've got a plug in my other LS conversion. Maybe it's from a 5.3 or 6.0 truck?
The TB has the air port through it. The intake is missing the fitting that goes to the TB port.

I have one.. the GM Part number is #12558346, it is used to remove the EGR on the early LS1 intakes and plug the port on the intake. Under $20.

If you ever read the GM LS1 Conversion Guide, I has it listed.

If it is a LS1 TB, it should have the PCV that leads into the Manifold just behind the TB and the fresh air port is in the TB.

Thanks for the PN!!! Off to the dealership.....
The TB is from a truck. It has the air passage to the front of the TB. The LS1 intake has an area on the manifold, behind the TB, that I can drill/tap/ add a fitting to that air passage.

There is this as well, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT . Has a dorman part no, so it's probably about $0.45 if you can find it elsewhere.
$20 for a plug is nonsense.

Looks like a block plug. And I dont see what would keep it from falling into the manifold

Here's pics of the GM EGR plug, part #12558346

A 1 3/8" freeze plug will also work, I'd recommend a little RTV on it when tapping it in place. I bought a used LS1 intake and it had one of the rubber expandable type freeze plugs in it, not very pleasing to the eyes but still very functional.
