Default what gears, shift kit?

ok here's the deal i have the mods listed below...and eventually plan on adding LS6 intake manifold, head and cam package, and some suspension stuff. After the TC goes in, I had planned on adding 3.73 gears, but i wanted to get some input from you guys first. Most of the opinions that i have gotten are for the 3.73's but a few people have said that 4.10's would be better. I plan on going with the previous gears, but like i said wanted to get a few more opinions first.

Now for part 2...i am going to have a friend tune my car with LS1 edit(shift points, rev limiter). Since he is going to do that for me, do any of you think that i should still get a shift kit? It would be a trans go if i decide to get one.

What type of converter and size stall, I wouldnt change gears I would just do the converter and see if you like it first.

Alot of guys use the trans go , they have good luck with them.

Sorry I saw the converter you have after I wrote, I would skip the gears and buy a set of Drag radials,

I have two sets of wheels , stock wheels that I drive around the street with and they have Nitto drag radials, and a set of centerline convo pros that I use at the track.

I had the nittos now for about 7000 miles and 30 track passes and still have some life left, and they are good in the rain, great tire for the money.

Nittor drags are supposed to last between 10000 and 15000 miles , but I guess that depends on how you drive Give or take .
