high rpm lockout

Default high rpm lockout

i have a 98 z28 cam/intake an bolt ons. i bought the monster stg3 setup with tick slave. my question is will i still have the hight rpm lockout issues if i make my factory master cyl adjustable or do i have to but a new master 2?

It all depends on the cause of your original lock-out issue. Making a stock master adjustable does not affect the bore of the unit and thus will have minimal effect on the amount of fluid it can move. Modifying the stock master will allow you to adjust the engagement point relative to pedal travel though and this can help fine-tune the distance required for engagement.

Since the Master is not mounted inside the transmission I would try it with original master you have and then if you need it you can add a new master in the future. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
