Default Shoehorning 454....advice needed.

Guys I've decided due to costs mainly to keep the 67 Camaro old school and not go LS. Ill leave the LS money for the GTO. Ok here goes..any old school guys in here that can direct me on whats going to be needed to get my 454 in my 67 camaro'? I know the big block heater box, mtr mts., and springs. Lets go! Start rolling the comments in please keep the negative **** to a minimum since Im not going LS. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism welcome though!

I had a 454 big block in my '69 Camaro before my LS swap. I would make sure you have a big block or aftermarket rad installed to keep that 454 running at the proper temperature. Big block springs, and stiffer sway bar come to mind as well. I had the trusted Th400 tranny behind the big block and 12 bolt rearend. Good luck with the build, I always liked the torque I had with my 454.

Thanks man yea I know at least the springs, heater box, mounts and radiator are gonna have to be BBC specific. I REALLY wanted to go LS and still might in the future but due to time and financial reasons Im going old school like I said. Ive already got the 454 and some other random parts so it would be easier to go this route at this point in time.
