Spotted a LAX super yesterday!!

Spotted a LAX super yesterday!! I never really thought I would see one of these in central Ohio, but yesterday I pulled up to an intersection (half asleep) In my Monte and as the car in front of me took off I noticed the large dual exhaust tips.... I then noticed the rear spoiler.. I thought.. hey that was a Super!!! I had to wait for a few other cars to get out of my way so I could cross the intersection... I then gave the SS the boot to catch that Buick.... when I came to the next cross road I then noticed the small little Super emblem below the LAX emblem.... What a sleeper!!!I thought cool there is several LS4's in my neck of the woods (There is also a GXP owned by my son's Cubmaster). The LAX was filthy with salt but it looked like it was Pewter in color, what other colors were they produced in??

Right place, right time, wrong car, yesterday I was on my way home from work and I ran into a pair of GXPs and an ISS, I was so excited, until I realized my girlfriend and I swapped cars for the day so I was in a Purple 2000 VW Beetle. I raced the guy in the ISS, it was pretty embarrassing.

The most common LS4 that I see around are the Impalas, there are a few Montes and GXPs, but I see at least 1 or two ISS's every day on my travels.

SeweRat, I love the wheels on your Super!!! They look right at home! You should've submitted a pic for the calendar this year, would've been a nice addition. Nice car bro.

since ive had the monte, i dont think ive ever seen a gxp, tons of Imps, a few montes and 2 or 3 Lax's ...
god ... what i wouldnt give to have the Lax ... you know, minus the obvious monetary differences associated with trading for one .... mines paid off, i dont need no damn car payments

Sweet Super SeweRat!
This Mocha '08 was for sale locally. Car looked great from a distance but close up it had a lot of flaws for a 15K mile car. It had the silver painted rims too. They wanted $21K for it.

id offer them 17500, and demand a minimum of 12000 for mine ... the only thing is im sure the interest rate on a 3 year old car would kill me for a term longer than 12 months ... and if i had 5 grand laying around, i would just buy another car rather than trade up on something else used

I just love the reaction people do when our LS4's start-up (especially using auto start)! They always do this stupid double take like it's not suppose to sound so beefy! And I really love the look on stock $hitstangs when you dominate the hell out of them from a dig, from a roll, **** I bet I've beat a few in reverse! I know my "Paula" is stock but she goes when I need her too! It's all about launch control, and throttle control, plus I pick and choose my battles so thats why I haven't lost too many "races". HAHAH!
FTW the LAX Super is sweet I rented one from the Columbus airport. And Sewerat yours is the $hit bro I love black on black! Thats how my '05 GTO was. RIP little lady!
