Default dual intank pumps-how can i weld a bulkhead fitting on line coming out of tank?

I am slowly building a regal project that i picked up and the questions keep on coming. the car has a dual pump setup in the tank that is hooked up to the stock regal feed and return lines. i would like to run a -8 feed and return line but not sure how to do it. I think i have seen fitting welded onto the lines to attach the braided hose? Can i just put it straight into the top of the pump assembly and hook something up inside? curious as to how to make this work. thanks guys

just buy a gasketed bulkhead fitting and drill a hole in the top of the tank

You can either Y before the bulkhead or after. With the given room in a tank, I would say Y them in after. You can use 2 of these and this to help.

welded? They will screw to the plate. Hence the gasket on them. They use the nut on the other side. No need to tighten. Although they do have weld in kits too.
