Default Lifter installation question, help please

Quick question all,

Im installing new lifters in my LS1, the compcam magnum lifters. But I dodnt notice when I pulled the old ones out what side the little whole is on. Any one know? I am refering to the little whole on the side of the lifter about half way down, does it go on the inside or out side of the lifter tray?

Thanks!

Ian

They should be placed facing up so they don't drain out at least that's my logic about it or maybe I'm just paranoid

I does not mater if its pointing to the front or rear, the oil galley goes thew the block and the oil travels around the lifters to the next one under pressure.
