Default Truck water pump, twisting the outlet?

So I have a car intake with my truck water pump and the throttle portion (where the throttle cable attaches) of the TB was contacting the outlet of the water pump, so I took the tube out to twist it but now it just slides in and out without any to little resistance. So my question is, is there some kind of sealant I put on the tube when I slide it in that will hold it in place and not leak?

That pumps no good now.

Run a L92 water pump the outlet is 45* and will clear the TB cable.

I respectfully disagree. You can easily put that back in, but I would recommend just changing the outlet to a car style, so it points toward the front. You can easily have the housing tig welded to shut the hole, and simply bore a new hole, and weld the outlet in. Or, Just do like he said and buy a new pump.

If the outlet is stainless and the body aluminum, then they can't be welded together. I guess you could resize the hole, but I would think the loctite would be the easier solution.

I swapped to an 07 and newer truck pump. The outlet is angled away from the throtle body.

I'm planning on similar belt routing for my 442. Is that lower idler near the crank necessary?

I just bought a GTO style one so the outlet points straight out and no where near the TB.

The GTO pump is the same as all of the other car ones and would need spacers to work with the truck acc drive.

Ive considered that, but dont know if I want the added expense of custom hoses and fittings. Thanks for posting that though, they have some nice stuff.

Default water pump

Is there a water pump that will work with the truck accessories that the top hose will exit out the front like an f-body? I would like to have one that does not require spacers. If there is no such pump, where can I buy spacers?

Yeah, but you gotta swap pulleys.
