Default Corvette FPR Question

Are there good and bad aftermarket versions of the corvette fuel pressure regulator? I bought one from autozone(WIX) and have only had the car running for about 3 months and I noticed that the car smells rich. I checked the fuel pressure and it is 75psi(on 2 gauges). I have to replace it, but I hate to replace it with another piece of junk.

Wix filters are good, They are not typically a problem.

What pump are you running?

Is your pressure the same at full throttle & also at idle?

I have a walbro 255lph

I have not checked it at WOT.
I checked it when I first installed it with the same gauge at idle and it was 60psi

could be a bad filter/regulator or a plugged return line. If it drops under load, it is likely the return.
