Default Is the radio harness all I need?

I just bought an alpine ida-x200 off my buddy, but I don't have the harness that came with the hu. If I get a replacement from ebay as well as everything here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/2743520-post5.html will that be all I need? And what about the rca plugs in the back of the hu, will any of the harnesses have the plugs on them?

Once you buy the Alpine IDA-X200 harness you will also need the following:

Metra Pn's: 40-GM10 (ant adapter), 70-1858 (alpine harness to OEM harness adapter), 99-3300 (dash kit)

The RCA plugs running from the back of the HU are most likely subwoofer outputs, front/rear outputs and/or aux inputs. Try and download an instruction/installation manual for that specific HU. It will also help when you wire up the Alpine HU harness to the adapter harness. Hope this helps

If you're patient and cheap, buy it online (eBay, etc.) Some even have the complete harness and mounting kit together.

If you want it right now, even most Walmarts carry at least the harness, and if that fails, you can get them from BestBuy (but it's gonna cost you a lot more).

that wiring harness will works with the monsoon stereo to your alpine HU.

It will come with tail ends for pos, grnd, acc, illum, front +/- L/R, rear +/- L/R, etc...You will have to splice or solder into your aftermarket HU harness

Looks like eBay is your best bet. Some sellers carry the complete harness/mounting kit, just make sure you get one with the flat face plate if you want it to look right.

The brand name is not important. Just get the GM 21-pin adapter harness for models 1988+ from whatever maker they carry - Scosche is another common one besides Metra.

Im pretty sure that all monsoon cars were prewired for a cd changer whether they came with one or not...either its the cd changer or steering wheel controls.

Oh yeah I forgot about that, like the ASR wiring being in the harness even if it's not equipped with it.
