I used to pack about 12 lbs into my 10 lb bottle by freezing it. Thats about the only "trick" there is. Be careful about stuffing it too much, because if the bottle temp goes up too high it will surely blow the safety valve off the bottle when extra-packed.

Nah, were just from Texas My supplier is on my side of town every Monday, and only charges me 5 bucks for door service. Just trade him Cylinders and thats it.
Im having some problems with all the AN fittings sealing up, should I go over them with some teflon tape or what. Also, I need to know where I can pick up some shorter AN line, and the AN wrenches localy in Houston.

Also, what would be a good sized compressor to use. Would a 29 gallon be enough or should I go 60.

I say you retarded for wasting your money on one!!!!!

The freeze and fill seems safer to me....... even though some disagree... I don't see it possible to OVER fill a bottle this way.

Stang Killer, do not use teflon tape. Its a no-no with nitrous. Freeze it fill it, dont let sit in the sun if overfull (looks cool blowing off inside a nighthawk...right Raegen?).

Looks cool until your hand freezes trying to pull it out of the car!

I have had to close bottle valves to keep them from over filling using the freeze method, I usually catch them at about 12lbs in a 10lb bottle

That's true for medical grade, but for industrial grade, no. The industrial has sulfur mixed in... it'll make you puke before it gets you "happy". Keeps it from being abused by the huffers.

Someone told me once that the sulpher in automotive use nitrous is also there for its burning quality..that medical grade wouldn't make the power that automotive grade will.

i sprayed my car with a TNT kit for one season a few years ago but never really got into the technical aspects of nitrous oxide itself.
