diffrence between ls1 and ls6 intakes

i am trying to figure out witch intake my 97 vette has on it, it doesn't have an egr provision so iwas looking for other differences. is there any place to mic or any other tale tale signs.

look on the bottom, if its flat its an ls6, if its got a hump its an ls1. this exact question was asked last week. you can do a search for it. and unless your c5 is modded it came with an ls1 oem.

Your 97 vette came from the factory with a LS1 intake without EGR on it.

From 2001-2004 the vettes have the LS6 intake.

The 97-00 Vettes have the LS1 intake.

B.T.W.The vettes never had EGR.
