Just off the top of my head, he would need the oil tank, the lines for the oiling system. New exhaust (manifolds and mids, or long tubes) and if it is the 05, you would need the harness and ecu, unless you use a converter box for the crank signal. (correct me if I am wrong, but the 2005 model LS engines were the last of 1 reluctor wheels and in 2006 they used a completely different)

Too much work for 2005, your friend would be better off buying a forged LS3 motor from a vendor.
The battery will aslo need to re-located to the rear as the oil tank goes there.

Actually your information was very helpful, it just needed a little tweaking.
Good info.
Unfortunately computers are not very forgiving and if you don't spell it right or do it in a specific manner, etc ... The computer can't figure it out for ya.
