i have been reading here on the forum that the lt1 radiators are the cheapest best setups to go with for a ls1 conversion?are there any other options for cost effective?i have a stock bcool radiator in the car now, wonder if i can make it work?also who makes a good quality cheap gas tank with the proper fuel injection pumps?im getting alot of my parts from street and performance, just trying to save where i can!thanks for the advice guys!!

There are many threads and FAQ on doing 1st gen F-Body's.. just do your research there..

just about any radiator will work, but most early GM have a 1 1/2" lower outlet.. the Gen III/IV engine/pump have 1 1/4".. just have to mod or work around that (using hoses or metal tubes.. or have someone weld a 1 1/4" reducer on the radiator outlet).

Fuel Tanks... many use the Spectra tank with intake pump. Rockauto seem to be the cheapest place. Other have used the Tankinc setup. You can alway sump your tank and go external (I would not recommend it) pump setup.

If your getting parts from S&P.. IMO.. your paying to much for parts.

Good luck

We have a vendor section for that part of the build. but Speartech is the common way to go !

Many can mod your current harness or seill you a new custom one with your requirements and needs.

If you're going to use the stock type radiator, get a '98 camaro upper hose - they fit really well. A flexible hose a kragen etc will get the job done for the lower.

In one of my first builds I did a couple years ago I bought the big block sender that has both the output and return lines and installed it on the original tank. Then ran an external walbro pump along with a corvette fuel filter (it's the regulator to). Worked great and I never had a problem with it. That's about the cheapest way to go for a fuel tank setup. That being said, the spectra won't cost you much more and it has the internal pump which is a better setup in my opinion.

good luck with your build!
