Default Throwning p0343 code

I went to get tuned last nite only to have proplems. It cranks then dies when the 100mm maf is connected. I unug the maf and it runs fine. But still has the code. I have the ls1 computer with a ls2 engine so I swapped the outside wires. I also pulled the sensor out and there are no signs of contact between the sensor and the gear. Can anybody help

343 is cam sensor input high voltage; has nothing to do with the MAF. High voltage means that either the sensor is bad, or you are feeding straight reference back to the PCM.

I ordered a new sensor. It should be here tomorrow. How would I check if it was feeding back?

As I mentioned in PM, have seen the code when the cam gear bolts backed out as well.
