Default anyone running OE wheels 18x10.5 in Front?

was looking at the backspacing for the wheels, looks like the 18x10.5 wheels have the same spacing as say a ZR1 wheel, 56mm.

My question is, is anyone running these up front. Was thinking about going to a wider front wheel, just not sure of how it would fit.

Concerns are it hitting the steering knuckle, and the clearance of the fender.

Id like to have the wheel flush with the fender, and from the backspacing it looks like this is possible, but I'd like to see anyone that has done it.

If you have, could you post pics? preferably with the wheel straight so I can see the overhang/inset of the wheel.

thanks in advance.

These are wheels im running now, just thinking of going to all 18x10 and selling this wheel/tire combo.

i put c5 dd 10.5 in front, but i wanted to go with thicker sidewall tires so i had to trim my fender liners and such there 275-40-18s if u get 275 35 or 295 35 it should fit fine and not rub anything, no issues with steering cant tell because its not lowered but it sits pretty close to flush

you can look at the pictures on my for sale thread
https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...295-tires.html

they are 19x10.5's with 295's all around and the wheels are way back in there, she was even lowered

if anything I needed a small spacer to pull the front wheels back out

i got them straight from OE wheels. I actually bought a set of 18x10.5 for the rear, was gonna start by running 18s all the way around. Thinking now of selling the rear 19s with tires.

if you want those shoot me an offer. they have toyo poxes t1r tires with about 2500 miles on them. no patches or plugs or any of that, tires are perfect. This way you could run all 19s or like i want to, an 18x10.5 up front. OE only sells the set with the 8.5 fronts
