Default t56 gears grinding

i have a 98 camaro z28 and when i try to put it in gear the gears grind and sometimes it will go into gear fine but when i let off the clutch the gears grind this happens mainly in 2nd 3rd and 4th but sometimes every gear exept 6th the car has 150xxx miles on it so the clutch probably needs replaced but i dont want to replace it and find out its the throwout bearing or syncros. it will grind real bad if i burn the clutch even a little bit. please help.

With that many miles, if its never been freshend up, its probably time. The same applies for the clutch and hydraulics as well.

Sounds like you need both the trans and clutch freshened up. Might as well do it all when the trans is out.
