The last thing I would do after I forgot to close my hood and go for a drive then LOSE it would be to post about it on a forum known for ridiculing mistakes like that.

Just remember if anyone asks, your engine was making so much power it blew the hood off.

i don't see a problem either..looks like true ram air

i ran around town for about an hour like that (no hood) when i was in the process of putting on my ss hood. redneck as hell but i'd rock that in good weather

Happened to my dad once in an old Pontiac when he was around my age....flew off at like 80 mph, hehe.

It sucks, but at least it looks pretty damn clean under there

Are the fins on top of the intake for cooling or decoration? Because the intake is what makes our engines look bad. I wonder if the top of the intake can be filled and smoothed out...

That happened to me once when I had my 79z28 but it stayed on just folded like a taco and cracked the windshield. I needed a 3" Cowel hood anyways lol

hood must have not been bolted on, and blew clean off, glass is still good in pic
