just started doing this...... when head lights are on and I turn switch to off position hea lights close, but chatter like skipping gear for about 10 seconds. or when I activate or de-activate alarm..... only recent thing I have done to the car was R/R manual trans. I currently have a Optima red top battery. have not had any issues with it.... any idea what may be causing this that I can look at or check? any input would be appreciated....... Thanks

now that you mentioned it. I have replaced the passenger side, but not the driverside....the culprit one! thanks man.
