Exclamation Will LS3 Clutch Work In F-Body like the LS7 Will?

I know to make an ls7 clutch work in a f-body you just need a flywheel, and was wondering if the ls3 clutch is the same way? i can come across one pretty cheap for my 00 f-body and was wondering if it will work? same question with stock ls9 twin disk?

The LS3/LS7 units both use a recessed flywheel. To run one of these in your LS1 you will need a clutch and flywheel package. In truth I would suggest simply upgrading to a higher-performance aftermarket set-up because they provide a higher torque capacity and eliminate the stock ratcheting (SAC) pressure-plate which can be less than idea and more prone to adjustment based issues.

As for the LS9, it has a completely different crank pattern than your car does. As a result it will not allow for a simple bolt in of stock parts. Let me know if you have any further questions.
