What color calipers to go with Mystic Teal TA?
I plan on getting 18" polished DD C5's in a few months and I need to repaint/powdercoat my C5 brake calipers to look good since these wheels will show the brakes off. What colors would look good with a Mystic Teal TA?

So using MS Paint to test a few possible colors, which I know, sucks for deciding what the end result will really look like, but it should give me an idea. I think I may be leaning towards Navy Blue Metallic, Maroon, or even Red. I currently have Silver with the raised black 'CORVETTE' lettering now on my C5 brakes, and although it does look good, unless you look close, they look stock, I want something just a little more noticeable but not too flashy.

Although I would LOVE to polish them, and given that the car is not my daily I do have time to polish them, keeping them polished would be pretty hard to do, as with my pads just a day or so of driving turns the wheels pretty dark. I can get matching Mystic Teal in a spray but wouldnt it flake off because of the heat?

No. It's just like any other paint. I did the same on my Tahoe (matched body color spray from GM) and it's held up perfect for 50k miles.

I would go with body color and black brackets. To me silver would stand out way to much for my taste but thats my 2 cents though. And I mean you would have a Polished wheels and that to me would be enough for the wheel/tire area. But like I said thats just me though.
