Default Cam only best! 11.26@119.43

I'm slowly getting there . I hooked a 1.51 on the 11.26 pass early in the day but as luck would have it the track prep went away right after that. I ran 3 11.27s@119 on my last few passes with 1.55-1.56 60fts. Time to get drastic on the weight removal

I tried to launch around where mike Hoffpauir told me (1800 rpms) but it would roast the tires so i had to take the flash out and launch around 2400 rpms to get it to halfway hook.

The FTRA really picked up the MPH but the ET was not very noticeable. DA was about the same as last time so maybe in the next month i can get some COLD air along with a solid hook and see what happens. Where are you 1.4x 60fts????

5point7,i have them all except for the electric water pump. I'm running a modified Mac header setup through the cutout,TSP lid, free mods,ASP pulley,FTRA,LS6 intake and so on.

R White, only by about 5 minutes lol. That C5 is awsome going down the track Time for me to get crazy and strip down to a C5 weight

Kent,thanks man.

Dan,whats up? What's been going on? You still drive a LS1?

XFiveLiter,i'm going to milk my cam only setup for awhile because in a way i regreted getting out of the bolt on race when i had my B1 cam in the car. I think R White got a DA for the day -1000 early then fell into the -700 range by late when i was running the 11.27s spinning. I think the humidity started climbing along with them not preping the track, since they were getting ready to shut down for the day.

very nice results. get that 60' down in the 1.49 area. i think when you are talking about that kind of traction, it is the track that needs to be preped very well. weight reduction is really a key. my bucket hasnt seen under 3550 lbs in a long time. i guess i will stay that way untill i can get the money to race competitively. good luck!

I'm curious what your previous best mph was? I mean before the addition of the FTRA. Asking because you stated that you noticed a difference. That is awesome mph for a cam only. Fred

WS6snake-eater,My suspension setup is Mac LCA,BMR LCA relocation brackets,Wolfe subframes,BMR panhard rod,BMR torque arm set at -3 pinion angle and front sway bar removed. Stock 10 bolt on 26x10x15 ET Drags.

Gator's,weight reduction could have helped me alot saturday but i was to lazy to pull the usual stuff so now im going to go a step farther and get as radical as i can without getting laughed at

Fred,DA was almost identical with the 11.31@117.94 being -900 and the 11.26@119.43 being -800. I did trap 118.13 before the fast toys so you can say 1 1/2 mph with the FTRA ET was not as much with the engine running hotter than usual since the FTRA blocked the air more but i got a fan switch to take care of that.
