There are many good ones on the market. Can't go wrong with JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine, and some of the Sony units. It's more about price point and features.
I recommend something that matches the interior illumination, has both aux. input and a USB input (a nice feature), and has good processing. A nice EQ also helps with tuning and getting your sound just right.

Agree with this. It all really depends on what you're wanting out of a headunit when looking around. I'd say figure out exactly what features you want (usb, gps, etc.) then try to find a style you like and look up reviews for the headunit you're looking into. And if you go for a double din just remember you'll have to modify your radio bezel or order one from 6LE.

@SSG, I like that HU a great deal. At times I'm tempted to switch out my Alpine IDA-X100 for one, but I think I'll wait until the Kenwood has been out for a while. How is the sound quality?

Sorry about the

Sound quality is great and it's a great overall. Just keep in mind it's not a detachable face headuint.

Great tips, but don't forget about expandability. Three pre-outs for front, rear, and sub amps are a must. Also, the higher the pre-out voltage, the better

SSG, that Humont is nice, along with the HU. One day I'm going to get the money to buy one.

Can you guys post your pics in this thread?

I like to reference it when people complain about the look of aftermarket HUs. Done right, they look as good or even better than stock.
