Default Just Watched One Of The Best Documentaries Ever About Natural Gas!

This is really shocking to know I knew very little about the natural gas industry before I watched this movie. But since I have watched It, I have been doing a lot of research and found out a lot of info. I never get mad or wanna do something after I watch a show or movie on TV but this movie has changed that.

Here is the IMDB on it:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1558250/

And this is the website:
http://www.gaslandthemovie.com/

Our country is really just going to **** more and more each day. I hope you guys watch it and learn what you can. And if some of you are involved in this then I understand every man needs to provide for there family, but to the point of destroying our water systems is just to extreme and insane.

You can download it from a torrent site, here is a good link
http://www.kickasstorrents.com/gasla...-t4207629.html

If you not into downloading you can rent it from Netflix. Or buy it from Amazon for $21.49.

Dirty money creates, dirty money destroys. Its just how business is done. Food, water, everything is done with dirty money its nothing new, but documentaries atleast give you a different prospective on how things are done.

There are lots of inaccuracies and lies in that movie. For example the state of Colorado tested the gas from the faucets and determined it was biogenic methane not related to the natural gas they were drilling for. http://cogcc.state.co.us/cogis/Compl..._num=200190138

Go here for a list of some of the other inaccuracies in the movie.

I just finished watching the film and I thought It was well done. Cliff notes, a hippie is concerned about the possible damage the oil and gas industry is effecting America's water sources. He travels around America to interview the victims and policy makers.

I get where this guy is coming from, he is very concerned about the future of America. I'm cool with that. However, do you really think we can solve America's energy problems with a solar panel??? When he stated that in the film, I then realized that this is just some anti oil and gas hippie movie. Domestic oil and gas exploration and production is crucial to end America's addiction to foreign energy.

I do feel horrible for those families that were effected by the contaminated water. Even though there are only a few, the oil and gas companies should man up and fix the problem. I'm sure they can afford it.

Watch this movie with a grain of salt.

It's "An Inconvenient Truth", except about natural gas instead of man-made climate change.

Left wing propaganda. You can watch "documentaries" that are the opposite. Its all biased by the viewpoint of the person making the film.

People like to clump O&G companies all into one, but some are much better than others. Plus people don't care to think about the hundreds of thousands of American's who's livelyhoods depend on that industry.

Don't get me started on that POS of a film.

Here's a stance that we should all take. Emissions from fossil fuels negatively affect the environment, however over the next few years to decades, future technologies will solve the inevitable consequences of energy demand. Somebody is going to come a solution, its only the matter of time. So until then, America must keep up with the energy demand. America needs to continue to the world's leader of energy production and consumption. The only thing we can do as consumers is to be more energy efficient.
