Was looking for a name of this mod to a lt1 air filter help?? i was wundering what this kind of filter this was called cuz i know ram air , is a box type with a square filter n cold air intake is in the side of the car, but i was wundering what this kind was called, its sorta ram air, but then kinda not, and i also was wundering if i did this wud it improve HP, and would i need a new hood? cuz i have stock hood(ill put up pic).

if you have a '93 or a speed density tune, you could run a filter off the tb like that
K&N either 5000 or 5050. Both will fit without rubbing your factory hood and I'd suggest the 5050 so there's enough room on the back side to make a hole for your IAT sensor
