Default Need a stall converter

I purchased a 98 firebird about two months ago. The guy i bought it from said it had a small cam in it. 224/228/112lsa. What's a good stall converter that will work with that size cam, and does anyone have one for sale?

thanks

Call ptc..450$ and make an amazing piece. I cut 1.4x short times full weight with 380rwhp.

I would recommend a smallest size of 3600..4000 is where its at.

I was going to go with a 3600 but decided on a 3200. With the 3200, my car drives like stock on the street, but I run low 11's all day at the track. A 3600 would be more fun, but Idk how the driveability would be.

I only use the trans am on the weekends. I have another car that i use as a daily driver. what do you mean about the driveability of the car?

Driveability means how well mannered it is on the streets. In-other-words, Too high a stall can get annoying if you are stop and go like downtown.

The difference between a 3200 and a 3600 is around 100 rpms on a normal take off around town. Not hardly a difference one would notice.

Op.. Since you only drive it as a weekend warrior type.. I would go 4000. Only reason to not go that big would be if you were spraying a decent shot 150+.

a Yank SS3600 would be my minimum but the SS 4000 and PT 4000 would be your best bet!
