Thanks to Maryland Speed for the great deal on Headers, exhaust and CAI.
Thanks also to Norm for letting me use his garage, Jason for the install and Keith McCord for putting the awesome tune on this puppy.
Very little spent for the results it obtained. Dropped almost a full second from when it was showroom stock!
Now it's firmly in the 12's just the way it runs on the street everyday!
Not to mention the difference in general SOTP and fun factor compared to before.
It's sleeping in the garage and waiting for next spring....and some more mods!

A new torque converter will be the best mod you ever do to that car.

Yank SS3600 or SS4000 would be my choice. ;)

i think a 4000 stall would be too much for a bolt on ls2 , a 3400-3600 stall would work great

 I do believe a 3600 stall would help you out a great deal.

Go with SS4000 it's not to much do it right the first time.

I did the same thing people here talk about going small and yet now....... I have the 3800 and wish I went with the 4000.

I got a 3400 and its perfect in my opinion and im sure I wouldn't have wanted to go any bigger. For a bolt-on car that doesn't plan on a cam I think a 3000-3600 would be good. the stall makes it so much more fun though

Too much as in driver's opinion or ACTUALLY too much? Even the stock car will hit the tires harder and ET lower (assuming it hooks) with the larger stall. Now as far as taste for driving around town.... well that's definitely an owner / driver's opinion and it may be disliked compared to smaller, tighter unit.

In my opinion 4000 would be to much. I just got the 3400 and it is as high as I would like to go. In my opinion the highest to go on stock motor would be a 3600. Especially if you don't want to break stuff.

Nice times!!! I saw an LS2 GTO "bone-stock" go high 12's at E-Town some years back, street tires and all.
